The Margaret River Wildlife Hospital will serve an area stretching from Perth south to Albany and east to Esperance. We will treat animals that live nowhere else on earth: numbats, quokkas on the mainland, quenda, black cockatoos, and the Gilbert’s potoroo, once thought extinct and still among the most endangered mammals in the world. The numbat, whose wild population fell to an estimated one thousand animals, is our hospital’s logo.
